On 13th September 2024, the Managing Director of SDK Engineering Ltd, Mr. Synoden Kautsi, conducted a site visit to the ongoing staff housing and facilities project in Mwanza, under Traditional Authority Nthache. Funded by Governance Service Delivery Project (GESD), the project includes construction of a staff house, pit latrine, and associated drainage works at Thetula CDSS.
During the visit, Mr. Kautsi commended the construction team for the expeditious progress and high-quality work since the project commenced. He emphasized the importance of meeting project timelines and delivering quality work to ensure sustainable infrastructure that will serve the community for years to come.
In addition to enhancing the educational environment in Mwanza District, the project
has also created employment opportunities for over 20 skilled and unskilled labourers.
